A WOMAN said she was threatened and assaulted by a man in Abergele last weekend.
The incident, she said, took place outside on Marine Road, Pensarn, at approximately 6.20pm on Saturday, January 21.
She added that the man in question punched her car, and shouted misogynistic abuse at her.
North Wales Police confirmed that, as a result of a separate incident, the man in question, 28, was arrested and appeared at court for failure to comply with a post-custodial supervision order.

The woman, who asked to be left anonymous, said: “Police were telling me to calm down after I’d been assaulted.
“My head, elbow and shoulders are killing me, and I have a deep wound on my elbow where I slid after I hit the floor.
“I hunched up in the fetal position after he floored me, because I was expecting him to stamp on my head or something.”
The man also tried to break in to the houses of two of the woman’s friends, she said, leaving their children mentally scarred.
She also alleged that other cars were also attacked during the incident in question.
The woman added: “He banged on two friends’ doors to try and break in. A friend of mine’s children are traumatised.
“He then came around the corner and started punching my car. After he was punching my car, he kept banging on parked cars and knocking on car drivers’ windows.
“I had to signal to them to keep their windows up to stay safe. A crash apparently happened on the road while the incident happened.
“I told him to f*** off and he kept shadowboxing, and tried to attack a friend while his back was turned.
“I grabbed him, and he threatened me and kept shouting misogynistic abuse, and then ran away from us onto the train tracks.”
