A RESIDENT of Prestatyn received a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to committing three assaults in the town.
Perry Davies, 31, of Beverley Drive, was accused of assaulting Stephen Smith, a police officer, on August 27, 2022, and of assaulting Bryon Wilson-Noon and Danielle McGavin on September 24, 2022.
Davies pleaded guilty to all three offences on December 21, 2022.
At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on January 11, Davies was sentenced to 28 weeks’ imprisonment, suspended for 18 months.
The court heard how Davies made threats to the officer, was intoxicated, and has previous convictions.
Davies will complete a maximum of 10 days’ rehabilitation activity, 120 days of abstaining from consuming alcohol, and a 35- day “thinking skills” programme.
In addition, Davies will pay compensation of £250, and costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85.
This totalled £335, to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made for deductions from Davies’ benefits.
