A MAN from Rhyl was fined after he was found to have broken the speed limit while driving on a restricted road.
Paul Lawton, 67, of Glyn Avenue, was accused of driving a BMW vehicle on Hoole Road, Chester on May 29, 2022 at a speed of 35 mph, despite the limit being 30mph.
The speed limit was signified by street lighting, placed at intervals of fewer than 200 yards.
He pleaded guilty at Mold Magistrates' Court on January 6.
Lawton was fined £60, and is to pay costs of £40.
This totalled £100, to be paid by February 3.
He also received three penalty points on his driving record.
