A WOMAN from Rhyl was fined after pleading guilty to using her mobile phone while driving in the town.
Joanna Jenkins, 53, of Ffynnongroew Road, was accused of using her phone while driving a Peugeot vehicle on Ffordd Derwen on May 4, 2022.
She pleaded guilty at Mold Magistrates’ Court on January 6.
Jenkins was ordered to pay a £220 fine, costs of £90, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £344, to be paid in monthly instalments of £50 from February 3.
She also received six penalty points on her driving record.
