A YOUNG golfing star from Rhuddlan is representing Wales Golf at a championship in Quito, Ecuador.
Caolan Burford, a Rhuddlan Golf Club member from Rhyl, joined teammates from across Wales at the South American Amateur Championship at Quito Golf Club in Quito, Ecuador.
The 18-year-old is the current Welsh Men’s Open Strokeplay Champion and Welsh Boys Amateur Champion.
He will compete alongside Tomi Bowen, Darcey Harry and Harriet Lockley for Wales.

The Golf Hub at Rhuddlan Golf Club support Caolan by giving him free use of their indoor golf simulator studio to practice for his national and international events.
Rhuddlan Golf Club posted to social media: “Good luck to Rhuddlan Golf Club member Caolan Burford who is teeing it up this week in The South American Amateur Championship at Quito Golf Club in Ecuador.
