EMERGENCY services in North Wales came together for their annual carol service at St Asaph Cathedral on Monday, 5 December.
Members of North Wales Police, North Wales Fire and Rescue Service, the Welsh Ambulance Services NHS Trust and other emergency services took part in the traditional carol ceremony.
The Vale of Clwyd Foodbank were chosen as the charity for donations this year, with Chair Mark Owen MBE saying: ““We are extremely grateful that the emergency services have chosen the Vale of Clwyd Foodbank as their charity this year.

“Many of our communities are facing real difficulties making ends meet at the moment and the demand on foodbanks has never been higher.”
Following the carol service, mince pies and hot drinks were served to those who attended.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “A fantastic turnout at the Emergency Services Carol Service in St. Asaph this evening with some amazing performances.
“A huge thank you to everyone who donated food for the Vale of Clwyd Foodbank.”
