A MAN from Rhyl was jailed after he was found guilty of six offences he committed in Llandudno Junction and Bangor.
Nicholas Evans, 35, of no fixed abode, was accused of the following:
- Resisting PC Ryan, a police officer, in Llandudno Junction on May 13.
- Assaulting PC Ryan by beating her in Llandudno Junction on May 13.
- Breaching his criminal behaviour order in Llandudno Junction on May 13.
- Carrying an offensive weapon – a wooden pole – on Deiniol Road and Garth Road, Bangor, on October 19.
- Resisting PS Evans, a police officer, on Deiniol Road, Bangor on October 19.
- Breaching his criminal behaviour order on Garth Road, Bangor on October 19.
He was found guilty of all of the above at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on November 23.
Evans was sentenced to 44 weeks’ imprisonment.
The wooden pole was also seized.
