A CONVICTED sex offender from Rhyl was jailed after failing to comply with the register’s notification requirements.
Daniel Birch, 28, of East Parade, was accused of failing to provide notify the police of changes to the address where he was registered within three days of the change of address.
This was between November 11 and 18.
He pleaded guilty at Mold Magistrates’ Court on November 18.
Birch was sentenced to eight weeks’ imprisonment, after probation indicated there was nothing they could offer him.
He was told he had shown a “blatant disregard of (his) court order”, having already committed a “previous like offence”.
Birch had previously been issued with a sexual harm prevention order at Caernarfon Crown Court on May 22, 2019.
