AN ANIMAL park in Abergele is celebrating after being named among the winners at the Go North Wales Tourism Awards.

Manorafon Farm Park was crowned “Go Attraction of the Year” at the awards, which were held at Venue Cymru, Llandudno on Thursday (November 24).

The park said: “We had an amazing night at Venue Cymru for the Go North Wales Tourism Awards! A huge congratulations to all the winners and finalists!

“We’ve had such an exciting year at the farm, and are blown away to receive this award.

“A big shoutout to the Manorafon team - a great achievement for us all!”

In the last month, the park welcomed a new-born alpaca during Storm Claudio.

Last year, Manorafon Farm Park was also named as one of four finalists for a UK-wide annual award, National Farm Attractions Network’s ‘Jim Keetch Farm Attraction of the Year Small Award’.

It was the only Welsh finalist of the four.
