A RHUDDLAN holiday park is celebrating after being awarded the title of "best in the country".
Abbey Farm was named “best caravan site in Wales” at the Campsites.co.uk Camping and Glamping Awards 2022.
The park, which is family-run and opened 18 months ago, was also previously awarded “gold” from Visit Wales for its hand-crafted ensuite glamping pods.

Celia Williams, of Abbey Farm, enjoyed a successful career in construction, before expanding the caravan and camping park in 2020.
Her husband's family have been farming on the land for more than a century.
She said: “We are so pleased to win this award from for 'best caravan site in Wales 2022’.
“Although it is fantastic to receive this recognition, it is the feedback and reviews that we have from visitors that make it all worthwhile.
“As a family, when we opened the site 18 months ago, our aim was simple, really - for everyone to feel welcome and at home when they are staying with us.
“The village of Rhuddlan has so much to offer; with all of the cafes, pubs and places that make them (visitors) feel welcome, it’s no surprise we have so many people returning.”
