IT'S beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Rhyl after the town's festive lights were switched on today (November 26).
Actor Richard Hawley (Coronation Street) did the honours on the town’s High Street this afternoon.
Richard is among the cast members in the Christmas pantomime at Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, which this year is a production of "Aladdin".
A 8ft "GloBot" was also in attendance, as were other costumed cast members from this year’s panto.
There was also balloon modelling, before an impressive firework display ended the afternoon with a bang.
Also on stage entertaining the crowd at today's switch-on were Britain’s Got Talent finalist Gruffydd Wyn, mezzo soprano Sioned Terry, drag act The Royal Serenity, Matty Roberts and an acoustic set from the band Chasing Shadows.
