PRESTATYN residents are invited to enjoy some festive family fun on Thursday (November 24) when the town’s Christmas lights are switched on.
The full event, based primarily by the Marks & Spencer Food Hall entrance in Parc Prestatyn retail park, will be held from 2-6pm.
Switching on the lights at 4.30pm will be Prestatyn and Meliden mayor, Cllr Tina Jones MBE, and (work-dependent) Meliden-based actor Spencer Wilding (Rogue One, Harry Potter).

There will also be live music, with pupils from Ysgol Y Llys, Melyd, Penmorfa, Bodnant, Clawdd Offa and Prestatyn High School all singing carols, Chloe Hopkins with guest Dave “Sax”, and Rhyl Youth Marching Band.
Santa will also be at his grotto, with his elf helper “Coco”
Free face painting will also be on offer, as well as food and gift stalls.
