TOWNS and villages across the North Wales coast will gather this Remembrance Sunday to commemorate those who gave their lives in wars.

Here are the times and locations of parades and services in Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd for your diaries:

Colwyn Bay

Sunday, 13 November

9.45am - Service commences at St Paul’s Church

10.20am - Parade forms up on Woodland Road East

10.30am - Parade from St Paul’s Church to the War Memorial, Queen’s Gardens

10.50am - Continuation of Service and Laying of Wreaths

Conwy Town

Sunday, 13 November

10.45am - Service at the Cenotaph Bodlondeb followed by a service at St Mary’s Church, Conwy

Llandudno

Sunday, 13 November

9.25am - Assembly in Trinity Square, prior to entry into the Church of the Holy Trinity, and seats should be occupied by 9.35

9.45am - Service of Remembrance at the Church of the Holy Trinity followed by a service at the war memorial

10.20am - Parade to assemble in Trinity Square, under the command of the Parade Marshal

10.35am - Parade will move off turning left onto Mostyn Street and onto the Promenade via St. Georges Plaice, turning left in the direction of the war memorial where the parade will be guided to form a hollow square facing the memorial

10.55am - Assembly and short address by the Royal British Legion

11.00 am Two minutes’ silence and a sounding of The Last Post

Representative of the Royal British Legion, Llandudno Branch will recite the following: "They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old, age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, We will remember them”.

Crowd response - "We will not break faith with ye"

Then the laying of the wreaths will commence, followed by the National Anthems

11.30am Parade will reform on the Promenade (with the exception of the Mayoral party and Councillors who will return directly to the Town Hall) and proceed via Prince Edward Square, and Mostyn Street into Lloyd Street where the salute will be taken by the Mayor and President of the Royal British Legion as it passes the Town Hall

The parade will proceed along Madoc Street and Augusta Street into Vaughan Street when it will be dismissed outside the Ex-Servicemen’s & Friends Club

Penrhynside

Sunday, 13 November

10.15am - Service of Remembrance at Penrhynside Village Hall followed by a service at the war memorial

Old Colwyn

Sunday, 13 November

10.00am - Service at St Catherine’s & St John’s Church

10.40am - Assemble at War Memorial

11.00am - Laying of Wreaths & Service at War Memorial

Abergele

Sunday, 13 November

Abergele Town Council in conjunction with the Royal British Legion, the church, schools and other organisations will be having a Remembrance Parade and service on Sunday, November 13.

Members of Abergele Town Council and the Royal British Legion will parade from Peel Street at 9.30am through the town and will arrive at St Michaels for a church service.

Call for attention will be held at 9.40am.

During the last hymn at the church service, the Standard Bearer will approach the alter, vis the Elfod Chapel, and receive their Standard / Flag. They will then line up by the chancel step. One is position, the cross, choir and clergy will lead the way outside to the war memorial.

The Act of Remembrance will take place at the Cenotaph at 11am.

Rhuddlan

Sunday, 13 November

10am Meet at the community centre to prepare for parade.

10.30am Parade to leave Rhuddlan Community Centre for a service in St Mary's Church at 10.45am.

Return to the Cenotaph at Rhuddlan Community Centre for the laying of wreaths.

Light refreshements will be service in the community centre.

Rhyl

Sunday, 13 November

Rhyl’s Remembrance Sunday Service will be held on Sunday, November 13.

A service will be held at St Thomas' Church, Rhyl, at 9.30am and will conclude at 10.30am.

A parade will form on Russell Road and will proceed to the Garden of Remembrance for a short service.

The two minute silence will be observed followed by a wreath laying service and refreshments.

Prestatyn and Meliden

Sunday, 13 November

10.45am Meliden Memorial Wreath Laying followed by the Church Service commencing 11.15am.

St Asaph

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at St Asaph Cathedral on at 9.45am and will be followed by a procession to the war memorial where individuals and organisations will be invited to lay wreaths.

The City Council would request that anyone who would like to lay a wreath should advise the clerk by Friday, November 11.

Bangor

Sunday, 13 November

A parade will leave the Bangor Town Clock at about 9.30am, led by the Royal British Legion, the mayor and Bangor City Council.

It will proceed to St Deiniol’s Cathedral, where a service of remembrance will take place.

Following the service, a ceremony will take place at the war memorial on Garth Road, which will include a two-minute silence at 11 am, the laying of wreaths, and a march past on Deiniol Road.

Barmouth

Sunday, 13 November

Services will be held on November 13 at St John’s Church Service at 10.45am and the cenotaph at 12pm.

Beaumaris

Sunday, 13 November

9.45am - Parade lines up outside town hall, to be led to St Mary’s Church by Beaumaris Silver Band.

10am - Service of remembrance at St Mary’s Church.

11am - Outdoor service at the cenotaph and laying of wreaths.

Approximately 11.30am - Parade re-forms outside the church, to be led by Beaumaris Silver Band for the march past the town hall.

Approximately 1.30pm - Laying of poppy posies on war graves in Beaumaris Cemetery.

3pm - Remembrance service at old David Hughes School.

Bryngwran

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at Bryngwran at the war memorial, on High Street, at 11am.

Caernarfon

Sunday, 13 November

A parade will gather by Capel Salem and be ready to start from Boots at 10.40am.

Police will close the road to traffic for the event.

The salute will take place on the steps by the cenotaph.

Criccieth

Sunday, 13 November

The service, commencing at 10.45am, will be attended this year by the Lord Lieutenant of Gwynedd, Edmund Bailey, who will be laying a wreath on behalf of King Charles.

The gardens of the Memorial Hall will be adorned with crocheted and knitted poppies, and there is a “topper” for remembrance already in place on the post box adjacent to the Memorial Hall.

Edern

Sunday, 13 November

A service by the cenotaph will start at 1.30pm.

There will be a road closure during the service by the cenotaph, from The Ship to the Groesffordd on Lon Gerddi.

Holyhead

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at St Cybi's Church at 9.30am.

This will be followed by a parade forming up the High Street at the entrance to the church, to march down at 10:45 to the cenotaph.

A service will then take place at the cenotaph for 11am.

Llanbedr

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held by the war memorial – attendees are to be there by 10.40am.

Cwm Bychan Road will be closed between 10.30am and 11.15am.

Father Kaye is also holding a “linked service” in St Peter’s Church before the service at the war memorial.

Llanberis

Sunday, 13 November

There will be a service at the Llanberis cenotaph at 11am.

Llanddaniel Fab

Sunday, 13 November

Just before 11am, there will be a short service at the war memorial, where poppies will also be laid, the two-minute silence will be observed, and The Last Post will be played.

Llandegfan

A service will be held at Llandegfan Parish Hall, and then at the nearby war memorial, commencing at 3pm.

All are welcome to attend.

Llanerchymedd

Sunday, 13 November

A service at St Mary’s Church will be held before a procession to the war memorial on Amlwch Road for prayer and laying of wreaths by representatives from the community at 11am.

The road will be closed for 10–15 minutes.

There then follows an opportunity for light refreshments in the school hall.

The service will be streamed live on Facebook – an opportunity for those who are unable to attend to pay their respects.

Llanfachraeth

Sunday, 13 November

There is no service in the Llanfachraeth Village Hall this year.

Llanfair Mathafarn Eithaf

Sunday, 13 November

Remembrance Sunday shall be led by Dr Gareth Evans Jones, lecturer of religious studies at Prifysgol Bangor University, author, playwright and member of the Gorsedd of the Bards.

A service will be held at Benllech War Memorial at 11am. A warm welcome is extended to all.

Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at 10am at Capel Rhos-Y-Gad by Parch Llywelyn Moules Jones.

This will be followed by a short service by the cenotaph at 10.45am.

Llangefni

Sunday, 13 November

A parade will congregate at the town hall car park at 10.20am before proceeding to the cenotaph at Glanhwfa Road by 10.45am, where a service will commence at 10.50am.

Refreshments following the service are for members of the parade, as a token of appreciation.

Llanidan

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at 11am at Neuadd Goffa, Brynsiencyn.

Llanrug

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at 9am at the Memorial Institute.

Menai Bridge

Sunday, 13 November

There will be a service at St Mary’s Church, at 9.30am, followed by an act of remembrance at 11am at the memorial on the top of Church Island.

Morfa Nefyn

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at 1pm by the Cenotaph.

Nefyn

Sunday, 13 November

A service at Eglwys Dewi Sant will start at 3pm, followed by a service by the Cenotaph at about 3.30pm.

There will be a road closure during the service by the cenotaph, from Nanhoron Hotel to Nefyn School on Ffordd Dewi Sant.

Pennal

Sunday, 13 November

There is a service of remembrance in the church, and at 10.45am, the community council and village will meet at the war memorial to observe the traditional respect and silence.

Penrhyndeudraeth

Sunday, 13 November

There is a service at the Holy Trinity Church at 10.40am.

Wreaths will then be placed in the memorial hall.

Penysarn

Sunday, 13 November

There will be a short wreath-laying service at the memorial in Penysarn, with light refreshments afterwards in the village hall. Everyone is welcome.

People will assemble at about 10.45am, and wreath-laying will commence after the two-minute silence to coincide with the ceremony at the cenotaph.

Porthmadog

Sunday, 13 November

A Remembrance Sunday parade will take place. Approximate timings are as follows:

9.45 – 10.30am - Service at St John’s Church.

10.30 – 10.45am - Procession marches from St John’s Church to Bryn Coffa.

10.45 – 11.15am - Service at Bryn Coffa.

11.15am - Procession marches from Bryn Coffa, back up High Street, turning left into Snowdon Street, and finishing in front of the old drill hall.

A second procession is to pay respect to the memorials at Capel Salem and the Royal British Legion club/branch offices.

Pwllheli

Sunday, 13 November

There will be a service at 9.30am at St Peter's Church, followed by a shorter service of remembrance at the war memorial on the Cob, starting at 10.45am.

Tywyn

Sunday, 13 November

The Royal British Legion Remembrance Parade will take place at 10.30am from Tywyn Leisure Centre.

The service at St Cadfan’s Church will begin at 10.55am, with the two-minute silence commencing at 11am.

Following the service, the congregation is invited to join the organisers at the Neuadd Pendre for light refreshments.

Valley

Sunday, 13 November

Services will be held at 11.15am at St Michael’s Church, and at 12.30pm at Ynys Wen.

Y Felinheli

Sunday, 13 November

A service will be held at Memorial Hall at 10.30am, and at the memorial clock at 10.45am.
