A WOMAN has been banned from the roads and is to undertake unpaid work after driving while uninsured and disqualified in Towyn.
Hayley Ashdown, 26, of Queens Road, Greenfield, was accused of driving a blue Volkswagen Passat vehicle on Towyn Road without third party insurance and while disqualified on July 9.
She pleaded guilty to both offences on October 11.
At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on October 17, Ashdown was handed an 18-month disqualification period from driving.
The court ordered her to complete 200 hours’ unpaid work by October 16, 2023.
Ashdown will also pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £114 victim surcharge.
This totalled £199, which she will pay as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was made for deductions from Ashdown’s benefits.
