A HOSPICE based in St Asaph celebrated the formal opening of its new shop selling “preloved items” in Rhyl yesterday (October 27).

St Kentigern Hospice's “Preloved Warehouse”, on Wellington Road, welcomed customers for the first time in June, but an official ribbon-cutting took place at 11am yesterday morning.

The shop is based on the theme of second-hand shopping for “preloved” items, and how reusing and recycling benefits the environment.
