THE Home Bargains store on Prestatyn High Street will close as the chain’s new shop in the town opens in December.
Home Bargains’ new store in Prestatyn, to be based on Gas Works Lane, will open its doors on Saturday, December 3.
But as one shop opens, another will shut, with its High Street store closing for business simultaneously.
Next to the new Home Bargains, a garden centre, “GardenWorld” is in the process of being constructed, while the store will also boast its own bakery.

A spokesperson for Home Bargains said: "Our intention is to close our current trading store in Prestatyn on December 2. Our new store is scheduled to open on December 3.
“Our new store will be more than double the size of the existing store, providing upwards of 50 new job opportunities, all of which are advertised on our website - jobs.homebargains.co.uk.
“We look forward to showcasing our fantastic range of top brands at bottom prices, a fantastic new garden centre, as well as a range of fresh and frozen food products, including an in-store bakery at the new store."
The site of the new Home Bargains is less than a five-minute walk from both the town’s bus and train stations.
It was formerly the home of the Prestatyn market, which closed in November 2021 after nearly 50 years of trading after the site was sold by Northern Markets.
