A MAN in Rhyl has got into the Halloween spirit by giving the front of his property a spooky new look.
Andrew Wharfe, who has lived in a bungalow on Oakville Avenue since last year, has used many of the decorations which he would put on display at the Warrington pub he used to own.
It includes a trio of skeletons enjoying a drink, severed arms and legs, witches, and much more.
Andrew is already thinking ahead to how he might decorate his house of Christmas.
He said: "We used to have a pub in Warrington for 12 years, called The Lower Angel, and I used to decorate the pub every year, so I brought a lot of that stuff with me. People used to come from all over.
“I thought I’d decorate the front, because I’ve not seen any other bungalows (doing this).
“The amount of people walking past with kids, taking photographs, smiling and talking to you… it’s been really good.

“Hearing people say: ‘Can we go past that haunted house?’, or ‘I can’t wait to see what you do at Christmas!’, it does give you a boost.
“It probably took me a couple of hours to put it all together outside, and decorate all of the inside windows.
“I’ve not done it here before - we’ve been here for just over a year - but we used to do it all the time in the pub. I’ve got some plans for this Christmas, too.”
