A MAN from Prestatyn has written a book on the history of the Ffrith and Tower Gardens.
For more than two years Prestatyn resident Lewis Knight, from Tower Gardens, has been researching the history of the Ffrith Community Park and the history of the Tower Gardens area.
Lewis has perused more than a thousand photographs of the above areas, both old and new, and has now written a book which comprises of a written and photographic history of the areas in question, with more than 400 photographs in the book.
Lewis is a volunteer with the Friends of the Ffrith, a community group which aims to maintain and enhance the Community Park for use by visitors and the Prestatyn community.
The book, at the moment, is in draft form, and there are spaces for local businesses to advertise in it at a nominal cost.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to the Friends of the Ffrith, which will assist in the upkeep of Ffrith Community Park.
The book will be soon on sale for £15 - please contact Lewis via email on lewis.knight@outlook.com.
