A MAN from St Asaph is to be placed on the sex offenders’ register for five years after he was found guilty of three offences, including sexual assault.
Philip Morris, 53, of Bro Havard, was accused of the following in Denbigh on May 19:
- Touching a woman in a sexual way without her consent.
- Common assault of a policeman.
- Drunk and disorderly behaviour.
Morris was found guilty of all three offences.
At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on September 26, he was required to report to St Asaph Police Station, and register with the police for five years.
He is also to complete a 35-day programme, 200 hours of unpaid work, and a maximum of 20 days’ rehabilitation activity.
Morris will pay £300 in compensation, and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This amounted to a total payment of £385.
