A REMEMBRANCE service in Rhyl to mark Armistice Day will be held at the town’s War Memorial Garden on Friday, November 11.
All are welcome to attend the service, which will last from 10.45am until 11.15am, and will be led by Reverend Chris Spencer.
Richard Kendrick, volunteer for the Royal British Legion, has organised the service.
He said: “Everybody is welcome, and all of the schools and veterans in the area will be invited to come along.”

Meanwhile, volunteers are being sought to help with collections for the Poppy Appeal in Rhyl in October and November.
Helpers are needed to look after stalls, which will be set up at Rhyl’s White Rose Shopping Centre, as well as in the town’s Morrisons, Aldi, and Sainsbury’s supermarkets.
Richard added: “It’s every day from October 29 until November 12, from 9am to either 5pm or 7pm, depending on the store.
“We’re getting there slowly, but we’re short on helpers.
“All they’ve got to do is stand at the stalls and look after them for us, collecting money for the Poppy Appeal in a bucket.”
Anybody willing to help should contact Richard by emailing: kendrick7396@gmail.com.
