A MAN from Prestatyn has been ordered to pay in excess of £1,000 after pleading guilty to committing assault in Rhyl.
Jordan Lloyd, 34, of Ffordd Ffynnon, was accused of assaulting Ian Morris by beating him on February 6.
He was found guilty on September 1, having pleaded not guilty on July 13.
At Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on September 12, Lloyd was ordered to pay £400 in compensation and £620 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This totalled £1,020, which he will pay in monthly, £50 instalments from September 26.
Lloyd will also complete 175 hours’ unpaid work by September 11, 2023.
