A MAN has been jailed after pleading guilty to committing three offences in Abergele, including breaching his non-molestation order.
Richard Cross, 40, of Kendal Close, Bebington, was accused of the following in Abergele on July 18:
- Being within 50 metres of a property which he was aware that Danielle Potter lived at, breaching the order made by Birkenhead Family Court on March 15.
- Driving a silver Vauxhall Astra vehicle while disqualified.
- Driving a silver Vauxhall Astra vehicle without third party insurance.
He pleaded guilty to all three offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on September 9.
Cross was handed a 14-week concurrent prison sentence.
This was due to the seriousness of his harassment and a “blatant breach of disqualification”.
The court also ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £190, and a £154 victim surcharge.
He is to pay this total of £344 in weekly instalments of £6 from October 7.
Further offences, of assaulting Potter and of taking the aforementioned vehicle without the owner’s consent in Abergele on July 18, were dismissed after no evidence was offered.
