Elsewhere, Alan Taylor (YouTube: AL4N777) captured this footage from Abbey Road, Llandudno at 8.30pm on Monday:
The lightning arrived after a Met Office yellow warning for thunderstorms had been put in place for parts of North Wales, including Denbighshire, between 2pm yesterday and 2am today.
The Met Office warned of "additional hazards accompanying stronger thunderstorms, including frequent lightning, hail and gusty winds, particularly during the evening period”.
This followed more than 36,000 lightning strikes recorded in and near the UK in just 12 hours.
