A RESIDENT of Abergele has received a restraining order and a suspended sentence after pleading guilty to sending offensive messages.
Samora Hughes, 36, of Rhuddlan Road, was accused of sending messages, voicemails and pictures that were grossly offensive, or of an indecent, obscene or menacing character, between February 25 and March 15.
Hughes pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 31.

The court sentenced Hughes to six weeks' imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.
Hughes is also not to contact or approach Matthew Kemp by any means whatsoever until August 30, 2023.
In addition, Hughes will complete a maximum of 25 days’ rehabilitation activity.
Hughes will pay £100 in compensation, £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, and a £128 victim surcharge.
This totalled £313, which Hughes will pay in weekly instalments of £10 from September 21.
