A MAN has been jailed after he pleaded guilty to possession a sharp object and committing theft on Rhyl High Street.
Jason Cox, 49, of Central Drive, Blackpool, was accused of carrying a lock knife, and of stealing computer games and cards worth a total of £101.96 from WHSmith, on August 29.
He pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 30.
Cox received a concurrent six-month prison sentence for the two offences.
The court also ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a £154 victim surcharge.
This total of £239 is to be paid in full by February 28, 2023.
