THE displays are ready, the planes are fuelling up and the crowds are poised for a weekend of spectacular aviation in Rhyl this bank holiday weekend.
The award-winning Rhyl Air Show is back, and Denbighshire Leisure have confirmed the official line-up for the weekend, including the Red Arrows and Typhoon confirmed for both days.
The Silver Stars (RLC) The Royal Logistic Corps Silver Stars Army Parachute Display Team will start the jam-packed Saturday (August 27), followed by the eagerly-awaited Royal Air Force Typhoon Team.
Team Raven, the formation aerobatic display team, will delight the crowds on Saturday, followed by the Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, Calidus Autogyro, Steve Carver Aerobatic Display, with the spectacular finale from the Red Arrows.
Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will start the line-up on Sunday, followed by the Steve Carver Aerobatic Display and the Red Devils Parachute Display Team.
The Royal Air Force Typhoon Team will roar into action, followed by the Calidus Autogyro, L-39 Aviation, and the day will be closed by The Red Arrows.
On Saturday from 5pm, 1891 restaurant and terrace are holding an after-party at the Rhyl Pavilion Theatre, with live music to dance the night away with, food, cocktails and unrivalled views of the North Wales coast.

Aviation fans can also book exclusive seats on the 1891 terrace to watch the show on both Saturday and Sunday, with the silver and gold packages available.
Spaces are limited, so people are advised to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
