AN INCIDENT in Prestatyn has caused the road concerned to close in both directions.
North Wales Police are in attendance at the incident, which is on Barkby Avenue.
The Welsh Ambulance Service also sent one emergency ambulance, having been called soon after 10.15am today (August 19).
Residents and pedestrians have been urged to avoid the area.
North Wales Police said: “We are in attendance to an incident on Barkby Avenue in Prestatyn.
“The road is closed in both directions. Please avoid the area and take alternative routes where possible.
“We will issue further details on the incident in due course.
“Thank you for your assistance.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson added: “We were called this morning (August 19) at approximately 10.18am to reports of an incident in Prestatyn.
"We sent one emergency ambulance to the scene."
