A MAN from Abergele has been banned from the roads and ordered to pay in excess of £600 after he pleaded guilty to drink-driving.
Callum Mattok, 33, of Coed Berw, was accused of driving a Mini Cooper vehicle at Threeways Garage on Faenol Avenue on July 31 with 57 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath.
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 15.

Mattok was banned from driving for three years, though this will be reduced by nine months should he complete an obligatory course by October 5, 2024.
The court also fined him £400, and ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a £160 victim surcharge.
This totalled £645, which Mattok is to pay in monthly, £200 instalments from August 31.
