A SINGER has spoken out about writing songs and becoming a mentor to inspire others in music.
Sarah Kincey was born and raised in Ellesmere Port.
She began writing and singing at eight years old when her parents bought her a keyboard as a Christmas present.
Sarah said: "I was too shy to showcase any of my songs and my voice, so I quietly played and sang in my bedrooms for years."
After studying a performing arts diploma, Sarah left college and became a 'blue coat' at Pontins in Prestatyn.
Following this, she gigged all over the country gaining confidence and experience in singing and performing.
Sarah added: "I went on to set up a successful vocal coaching business and recently expanded it into a music and wellness centre to become the person/mentor that I wish I had when I was a child."
She now writes and co-produces music with her sound engineer, Les Walker.
With thanks to him she is now releasing her own music on all major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer and YouTube Music.
Her latest single 'Summer Vibe' was released earlier this month.
Sarah said: "My songs are written to inspire, empower and lift people's spirits as this is very important to me.
"I have also been approached by a TV company and so I may be on your screens doing what I love best in 2023.
"Please show some support to a local artist working hard to achieve my dreams and make my hometown proud."
