A MAN from Cwm has received a fine and points on his driving record after pleading guilty to failing to report a road accident.
David Hughes, 52, of Tan Y Bryn, was accused of being involved in an accident in Cwm while driving a Mercedes vehicle on February 26, before failing to report it to police within 24 hours.
The incident caused injury to Andrew Beacher.
Hughes changed his plea to guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 8.

He was fined £160, and ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £100 and a £34 victim surcharge.
This amounted to a total of £294, which he is to pay in monthly, £100 instalments from September 5.
Hughes also received seven penalty points on his driving record.
