LICENCED premises in North Wales have been asked to review their processes after reports of underage drinking.
North Wales Police's eastern licensing officer Charlotte Carr made the call on Monday morning.
She said: "I have been made aware that certain premises have been allowing underage drinkers over the last couple of weeks and North Wales Police have either found out through the individual admitting they were in a premises drinking or via the parents/guardians informing us the following day.
"Therefore, I am asking for you to review your underage drinking processes and, if needed, to amend to have tighter control on your premises.
"Trading Standards have been notified of the concerns."
