A MAN has been banned from the roads and fined after he was found guilty of drug-driving in Rhyl.
Mohammed Sulemen, 38, of Otley Close, Chadderton, was accused of driving a Volkswagen vehicle on East Parade on April 16 with 7.8 micrograms per litre of blood of Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC - the cannabinoid molecule in marijuana).
He pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on August 3.

Mr Sulemen was disqualified from driving for 12 months, and fined £160.
The court also ordered him to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a £34 victim surcharge.
This amounted to a total of £279, which he is to pay in monthly instalments of £25 from August 22.
