QUAD bike owners are being urged to be on their guard as North Wales Police prepares for a rise in thefts.
The force issued the warning to the public on Monday evening.
PCSO Iwan Owen of the Rural Crime Team said: "Quad Bikes thefts are rearing their ugly heads again - two have been stolen in the past few days.
"We have been able to recover one, this primarily due to it having a tracker installed.

"We do see a rise in Quad Bike thefts at this time of year. It's a busy time on the farm and thieves can take advantage of this.
"Please be on your guard and take all reasonable steps to safeguard your possessions.
"Although many of these thefts can take place at night, thieves can be very brazen and will visit farms in the middle of the day and help themselves in broad daylight.
"Please consider placing a tracker on your vehicles and advertise the fact that it does have a tracker.
"Take notice of unknown vehicle entering onto your farmyard and premises - We are aware that there are more delivery vehicles visiting than ever before but record the number anyway if you have the slightest suspicion. It is easy enough for us to rule them out if they are genuine.
"Most delivery vehicles are in good condition, clean and tidy.
"More often than not there is only one person in that vehicle and they will often wear clothing linked to a delivery company.
"They will carry scanners for any parcels and if challenged can give a reasonable reason for their presence.
"If you are not happy, record details and phone it into us on 101."
