POLICE are to increase patrols at a nature reserve in Rhyl after reports emerged of youths throwing large rocks from there at caravans on a nearby holiday park.
North Wales Police (NWP) say this has been taking place at the Maes Gwilym woodland site, damaging vehicles and caravans at Lyons Robin Hood Holiday Park.
Anyone who has witnessed or has information about any such incidents has been urged to contact the force.

NWP Denbighshire Coastal and Abergele said: “We are currently investigating criminal damage incidents in which groups of youths have been throwing large rocks at the caravans at the rear of Lyons Robin Hood holiday Park.
“This has resulted in damage to both vehicles and caravans.
“Local officers are aware that these offenders are throwing the rocks from the Maes Gwilym Nature Reserve area, and we will be proactively increasing patrols.
