A MAN from Rhyl is to pay more than £200 and abstain from consuming alcohol after he was found guilty of assaulting two women in the town.
Luke Taylor, 32, of Gwynfryn Avenue, was accused of assaulting both Jade Taylor and Karen Davies by beating them on April 18.
He pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court.

On August 1, Mr Taylor was ordered to avoid drinking alcohol for 120 days; this will be electronically monitored.
Mr Taylor is also to complete a maximum of 20 days’ rehabilitation activity.
He is to pay £150 in compensation, and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
This total of £235 is to be paid as a full lump sum within 28 days.
An application was also made by the court for deductions from Mr Taylor’s benefits.
