A MAN from Bodelwyddan has been ordered to pay nearly £300 after he was found guilty of changing lanes while driving through one of the Mersey Tunnels.
Charlie Jenkins, 23, of Coronation Close, was accused of crossing the line separating the traffic lanes without being authorised to do so in the Queensway (Birkenhead) Tunnel while driving a Ford Focus vehicle on November 19, 2021.
It is against a Mersey Tunnels byelaw to do so unauthorised.
Mr Jenkins pleaded guilty at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates' Court on June 22.
