A GREAT day out for the whole family is being planned in Rhyl next week, as part of the “Summer of Fun” programme of activities.
The annual National Play Day celebrations take place at Ysgol Christchurch playing fields, next to the Oak Tree Centre in Rhyl on Wednesday, August 3 between 11am and 3pm.
Summer of Fun is funded by Welsh Government.

Organised by Denbighshire County Council to help children enjoy their summer holiday, the free event will feature a host of activities that will include:
• Den building
• Arts and crafts
• Messy play
• Cardboard box city
• Dressing up
• Forest schools
• Bouncy castles
• Circus skills
• Painting
• Waterplay
• Bird box making
• Giant games
• Inflatable bungee
