A MAN from Rhyl has received a curfew and a suspended sentence after he was found guilty of assaulting a police officer.
Corbin Booker, 20, of Rhydwen Drive, was accused of assaulting PC Davies on June 15 by beating him.
The court heard how Mr Booker spat at PC Davies.
He was found guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on July 18.

Mr Booker was given a curfew, which will be electronically monitored, forcing him to be at his home address between 8pm and 6am every day until January 1, 2023.
He was also sentenced to 26 weeks’ detention in a young offenders’ institution, suspended for 12 years.
The court also ordered him to complete a maximum of 20 days’ rehabilitation activity.
Mr Booker is also to pay £400 in compensation, as well as £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service, making a total of £485.
A second offence, of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour at Rhydwen Drive on June 15, was withdrawn.
