A MAN who was found guilty of four offences, including burglary in Llandudno and theft from a Prestatyn shop, has been sentenced to prison.
Francis Lavin, 55, of Richmond Terrace, Liverpool was accused of the following:
• Stealing five pairs of pants, worth £375, from JD Sports, Prestatyn on July 3.
• Possessing a quantity of cocaine at St Asaph police custody on July 3.
• Entering Vision Express, Mostyn Street, Llandudno with intent to steal on July 18.
• Damaging a window belonging to Boots, Llandudno on July 18.
He was found guilty of all of the above at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on July 19.

Mr Lavin was sentenced to 40 weeks’ imprisonment; 36 weeks for burglary in Llandudno, and four weeks for theft in Prestatyn.
The court imposed no costs on Mr Lavin, but ordered that the cocaine he possessed be forfeited and destroyed.
