A MAN from Dyserth has been ordered to pay in excess of £1,500 after he was found using a mobile phone while driving without third party insurance.
Ben Musgrave, 31, of Cwm Road, was accused of both offences while driving a Land Rover Discovery vehicle on the A525 in St Asaph on January 4.
He had pleaded guilty to both offences on April 14.

At Mold Magistrates’ Court on July 1, Mr Musgrave was fined £960 for driving uninsured.
He was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge and further costs of £110 for the offence.
Mr Musgrave also received six penalty points on his driving record.
For using a phone while driving, Mr Musgrave was fined a further £320.
This amounted to a total of £1,518, which he is to pay in monthly, £200 instalments from July 29.
