A MAN from Rhyl has been ordered to pay in excess of £350 after he was found guilty of causing criminal damage to property in Llandudno.
Patrick Smith, 30, of East Parade, was accused of damaging two windows at a property on Cwm Howard Lane belonging to North Wales Housing, worth £216.50, on September 13, 2021.
Mr Smith pleaded guilty at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on July 5.

He was ordered to pay the £216.50 in compensation, and was fined £40.
The court also issued him with costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and a £34 victim surcharge.
This totalled £375.50, which he is to pay in monthly instalments of £20 from September 6.
An application was also made by the court for deductions from Mr Smith’s benefits.
