A musical adaptation of Roald Dahl’s well-known children’s book Matilda is coming to Rhyl this September.
The story follows childhood genius Matilda Wormwood as she dreams of escaping to a life much different from her own.
Neglected by her parents, Matilda finds solace in books and her love of literature, facing confrontation from her evil headmistress, Miss Trunchbull.
The musical is being performed by Theatre in the Community (TiC), an award-winning youth theatre workshop company based in North Wales.
Directed by Wesley Ray with choreography from Bethan Jones, it is sure to be a night of family fun.
The musical will be performed at Rhyl Town Hall from 8-10 September, and tickets are available here.
