YSGOL Clawdd Offa has achieved the standard to become a National Nurturing School.
They are one of the first schools in North Wales to achieve this award following participation in National Nurturing Schools Programme.
This award recognises schools which have succeeded in creating a whole school nurturing culture, for all the children, staff, parents and external agencies who attend the school.
The school has worked hard at providing things such as staff and pupil nurturing wellbeing events, which have been maintained to the best of our ability throughout the whole pandemic and continue now and in the future.

Deputy Head Teacher Rowen Davenport, who led on the Nurture award, said: “This is just the first step and a lovely reward for what we have done so far.
“We now hope to make sure all the things we are doing are embedded and we have some exciting ideas of how we can develop things in the future.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all involved at helping the school achieve this award.”
The chair of Governors, Councillor Sharon Frobisher, said: “I am proud of all our pupils, parents and Staff.
“The award recognises that Ysgol Clawdd Offa is a caring and inclusive community where everyone does their best to look after each other.”
