A ‘Bush-Tucker Fun Day’ is being held at Abergele Golf Club to raise money for DangerPoint, a North Wales children’s charity.
The charity golf fundraiser, on August 7, will feature an 18-hole Texas Scramble with special trial holes themed around ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’.
In teams of four, players will go around the course, not knowing which holes will have surprise trials on them, collecting stars instead of points – t he team that collects the most stars at the end of the competition wins.
There will also be a crazy golf challenge on the putting green for children and families and a visit from Super Swirls Ice Cream between 11-4pm.
Outback shacks will also be dotted around the course, with exclusive challenges and Australian-themed treats and drinks for you to enjoy.
All teams are encouraged to wear ‘I’m A Celebrity’-themed fancy dress with the best team costume winning a special prize.
The Anglesey-based three piece ‘Three Strikes’ will be performing at the event, with tickets at £20 for adults and £10 for children.
The members of each team must hold a WHS handicap.
