A GROUP set up to look after Prestatyn’s Coronation Gardens have been hard at work preparing and planting in the circular bed and the two planters at the gardens.

“Friends of Prestatyn Coronation Gardens” held its “Dig and Rake” session on Sunday, June 19, where the ground was prepared and planting started, and has now also held its “Coronation Gardens Community Plant Out”.

In addition to those purchased by the group, a range of plants have been donated by residents, both to create a community flower bed, and to add to the planters.

Gill German, chair of the group, said: “The gardens look so much brighter as a result!

“Many thanks, also, to our neighbours, Friends of Prestatyn Railway Station, who came along to offer advice and to lend a hand, too.

“A fabulous community effort - thanks go to everyone involved.”
