AN ABERGELE-based carpet business has opened its second store, in Kinmel Bay.

Founded in 1985, Castle Carpets North Wales have remained independent, providing residents and businesses in the region help with their carpet requirements.

With an in-house fitting service and expert fitters, Managing Director Steve Fletcher and business partner John Wilson have up to four teams out every week, and are motivated to keep growing the brand.

“We want to be the go-to carpet company around here, and want to be the customers’ number one,” said Mr Fletcher, who went to school with Mr Wilson and reunited on the off-chance, only to find out they both dealt in carpets.

“We are that busy, we’ve outgrown where we were.

“I had a vision when I set out, and this was it.

“It’s exciting, we just need to take time. It’s a big jump, a massive place, but we are good at what we do.

“It is going to be rewarding.”

Castle Carpets supply and fit carpets, laminates and flooring services to customers throughout the Denbighshire, Conwy and North Wales area.
