A WALES Air Ambulance helicopter flew into Prestatyn this morning (June 27) to attend a medical emergency, which saw one person taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd in Rhyl.
An eyewitness said he saw the helicopter landing in a field in Prestatyn just off Nant Hall Road at about 10.40am, before taking off again at roughly 11.20am.
The Wales Air Ambulance confirmed it was stood down upon arrival.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (June 27) to reports of a medical emergency on Gronant Road, Prestatyn.
"We sent two emergency ambulances and one rapid response vehicle to the scene, where we were supported by the Wales Air Ambulance.
"One person was taken by road to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd Hospital for further treatment.”
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson said: “We can confirm the Wales Air Ambulance Charity helicopter attended a medical emergency in the Prestatyn area this morning.
“However, we were stood down on arrival.”
