A MAN from Kinmel Bay has received a suspended sentence and driving ban following numerous offences, including failing to provide police with a sample of his breath.
David Bolton, 37, of Trem Y Geulan, was accused of the following on May 26:
• Driving a Volkswagen Golf vehicle on the A525 between St Asaph and Rhuddlan without third party insurance.
• Driving a Volkswagen Golf vehicle on the A525 between St Asaph and Rhuddlan while disqualified from holding or obtaining a licence.
• Failing, without reasonable excuse, to provide police with a specimen of breath, as part of an investigation into whether he had driven while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
He pleaded guilty to all three offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on June 15.

Mr Bolton was given an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and a four-year driving ban.
The court also ordered Mr McBride to complete 160 hours of unpaid work.
He is also to pay £85 to the Crown Prosecution Service, but avoided further costs or points on his driving record.
