A MAN has been issued with a fine and restraining order after he was found guilty of causing criminal damage to the windows of two cars belonging to a woman from Rhyl.
Mark Rooney, 35, of Lees Avenue, Rock Ferry, was accused of damaging two windows each of Faye Jones’ Nissan Juke and MG vehicles on December 16, 2021.
The cumulative value of the windows was £100.
He pleaded guilty to both offences at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on June 15.

Mr Rooney was prohibited from contacting Jones by any means whatsoever, and from entering a specified address in Rhyl, until June 14, 2023.
He was also fined £233, and ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85, and £50 in compensation.
This made a total payment of £368.
A third offence against Mr Rooney, alleging that he threatened to Jones that he would burn her house down, was withdrawn.
