A MAN from Rhyl has received a conditional discharge after he was found guilty of harassing a woman who he sent a threatening voicemail to.
David Williams, 21, of Handsworth Crescent, was accused of harassment without violence of Holly Newnham between September 15, 2021 and January 14.
On the morning of January 13, Llandudno Magistrates’ Court heard how Mr Williams had called Newnham and left numerous voicemails on her phone.
In one such message, he was said to have told her: “I wish I could stab you in the throat.”
Mr Williams pleaded guilty on June 15.

He was given a six-month conditional discharge, and was ordered to pay costs to the Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a £22 victim surcharge.
This amounted to a total of £107, which he is to pay in monthly instalments of £20 from July 15.
A second offence of stalking Newnham was withdrawn.
